*The show will open at 9am on the Sunday for ‘quiet hour’ for people who have reduced mobility/prefer a quieter environment. There will also be an area for visitors to take a break from the show at the Chorley Dementia Action stall.

There will be buses offering a free park and ride service to Chorley Flower Show on all 3 days of the show, departing from the below venues:

Buses will run approximately every 20 minutes.

Botany Bay

Easily accessible from junction 8 of the M61, please follow the Chorley Flower Show park and ride signs. As you enter Botany Bay, the car park to your right will be open for parking. Please note this is a rough surface car park with unmarked spaces. The sat nav postcode is PR6 9AF and the park and ride bus will pick up and return close to the entrance to the car park.


Buses will run approximately every 20 minutes.
From Botany Bay: 9am – 6.00pm, with last pick up from the show back to Botany Bay at around 18:10


Runshaw College (Euxton Lane Campus)

Easily accessible from junction 28 (Leyland) of the M6, Runshaw College is located just off Euxton Lane and the sat nav postcode is PR7 6AQ. This car park is approximately five minutes’ drive away from the showground.


Buses will run approximately every 20 minutes.
From Runshaw College (Euxton Lane Campus): 8.50am – 5.50pm, with last pick up from the show back to Runshaw College at around 6pm


All park and ride buses are fully accessible and will drop and pick up from Chancery Road, which is a two-minute walk to the showground.

We are situated just minutes from the M6 (for postcodes of where to park see below and follow event signage), M61 and M65 motorways.

The 119 service links Chorley and Preston and calls at Chancery Road, in Astley Village, which is the Hallgate entrance to the show. It also picks up and drops off close to the Woodlands car park.


It is around a 15 – 20 mins walk from Chorley Train Station (town centre) to the showground at Astley Park and a 20-25-minute walk from Euxton Balshaw Lane station to the showground, which is on the Preston-Liverpool line.


Free car parking for the Chorley Flower Show:

Ackhurst Lodge Car Park, Southport Road
There will be limited parking spaces at this venue during the show. You can access the show by foot at the Ackhurst Lodge entrance to the park.
Please note that there will be NO PARKING AT Woodlands Conference Centre for the show this year as it is currently a COVID test centre.


West Way Sports Hub / playing fields
There will be limited parking spaces at this venue available during the show.


Playing Fields next to Derian House – accessible through the layby opposite Strawberry Fields Digital Hub
There will be limited parking spaces at this venue available during the show.


Strawberry Fields Digital Hub – SATURDAY & SUNDAY ONLY
There will be limited parking spaces at this venue available on Saturday & Sunday of the show only.


Town centre
There are several car parks in the town centre allowing you to access the show by foot from the Park Road entrance to the park. They are free after 1pm on Saturday and all day Sunday (except Flat Iron, which has a max 2 hour stay). You can find more information about town centre parking here and also a handy map below.

Hallgate Car Park – Blue Badge Parking only
The Hallgate car park will be closed to the general public for blue badge parking only for the show.

If this gets full we will have a drop-off point on Hallgate car park but the car will need to be parked on one of the other car parks. The drop-off point can be used by other people wanting to drop off at the show. Please do not park on residential roads in Astley Village.
