We are situated just minutes from the M6 (for postcodes of where to park see below and follow event signage), M61 and M65 motorways.

For details of where to park see below.

The 109A service links Chorley and Preston and calls at Chancery Road, in Astley Village, which is the Hallgate entrance to the show. It also picks up and drops off close to the Woodlands car park.

A park and ride bus will be running and will stop across the road from Chorley train station’. The showground is a 20-25-minute walk from Euxton Balshaw Lane station, which is on the Preston-Liverpool line.

There will be plenty of free car parks dedicated for the flower show, which are:

•  Westway playing fields – we will be opening up this as a car park that will provide more than 600 spaces. It will be clearly signposted as you get close to Astley Park. The playing fields are roughly a 400m walk from the show – although it may seem further away as you have to access it from Westway it is the closest car park to the show. Satnav postcode – PR7 6HT. Please follow yellow event parking signs

•  Woodlands/Ackhurst Car Park – the college on Southport Road will be open for parking and you can access the show by foot at the Ackhurst Lodge entrance to the park. Alternatively, a park and ride bus will pick up at this car park. Satnav postcode – PR7 1QR

•  Town centre – there are several car parks in the town centre allowing you to access the show by foot from the Park Road entrance to the park. They are free after 1pm on Saturday and all day Sunday (except Flat Iron, which has a max 2 hour stay)

A park and ride bus will pick up on the bypass opposite the bus and train station and the bus stop outside Booths (on Union Street)

Hallgate car park will be closed to the general public with blue badge parking only for the show. If this gets full we will have a drop-off point on Hallgate car park but the car will need to be parked on one of the other car parks. The drop-off point can be used by other people wanting to drop off at the show. Please do not park on residential roads in Astley Village.

There will be several car parks offering a park and ride – we will confirm locations here once the detail is finalised.
