Celebrity gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions

Jonathan Moseley

Chorley flower show – Celebrity special guests

Jonathan Moseley is a well-known floral designer and
popular demonstrator across the UK and abroad. Much of his
inspiration is taken from the beautiful countryside around where
he lives in the Peak District and as a keen gardener, Jonathan
grows a wide selection of plants in his garden to use in his floral
installations.

A passionate promoter of British grown flowers,
Jonathan is a British Flower Ambassador and works closely with
cut flower growers and florists. Through the summer Jonathan
can be seen demonstrating at flower shows and he is also kept
busy running his flower school in Derbyshire.

Martin Fish

Chorley flower show – Celebrity special guests

Martin Fish lives and gardens in North Yorkshire. He has been
a professional gardener since leaving school at 16. After his
apprenticeship and time at horticultural college, he became the
youngest head gardener in the country.

Still, very much a practical hands-on gardener, Martin writes for Garden News and Kitchen Garden magazine, broadcasts on BBC Radio York and presents ‘Pots & Trowels’, a weekly gardening programme on Facebook. He is a
senior RHS judge, a Garden Advisor for RHS Garden Harlow Carr and
a regular speaker at flower shows and garden clubs around the country.

Jill Fish

Chorley flower show – Celebrity special guests

Jill Fish has always enjoyed cooking, especially when using
fresh fruit and vegetables picked fresh from their North Yorkshire
garden.

As a home-cook, Jill has collated many recipes over the
years from family and friends and recently co-wrote ‘Gardening
on the Menu’ with husband Martin. Martin looks at the growing
side and Jill turns the fresh produce into delicious, easy to cook
dishes. When not cooking, Jill gardens, writes a cookery blog and
gives talks and demonstrations with Martin.

Sarah Hopps

Sarah Hopps developed her love of plants and gardening
while running her own cottage-garden nursery.

A former panellist on BBC Radio York’s gardening programmes, Sarah now spends much of her time acting as a tour guide escorting groups around gardens in Britain and Europe. During the winter months Sarah is an active speaker to groups and societies all over the country. She is also a Council member of the North of England Horticultural Society.
