The Sweet Pea competition this year is open to all members and non-members of the sweet pea society,
so if you have some sweet peas growing in the garden, why not enter this years virtual show.
Here you will find the entry requirements and a video to help you display your sweet peas.
We’re pleased to announce the launch of our Chorley Flower Show Photography Competition
which will be judged by the public on Facebook.
Winning entries will win a wrist band to next year’s show, have their winning photograph showcased
in next year’s event programme along with publicity during next year’s event promotion.
There are 4 categories:
– Abstract and closeups
– Wildflower
– Wildlife
– Young photographer (under 16); can enter any of the categories above (max 1 per category)
Deadline for entries is 15 July. We’ll be putting shortlisted entries on Facebook for judging on 21 July.
The photograph with the most likes will win its category.
Entries must be high quality digital images provided in JPEG format and must not have been modified in any way.
Entries should be submitted, along with photographers name, contact details and location of where the photo was taken, to events@chorley.gov.uk via DropBox or WeTransfer.
We are looking for your show garden designs for our virtual flower show. The winning entries will receive a free family pass with goodies for Chorley Flower Show 2021 and will have part of their design used within a Chorley Flower Show 2021 Show Garden.
There are 2 group categories 5-11 years (Primary) and 12-16 years (Secondary)
